The new SOLON Black 220/16 is specially designed for the construction of large-scale rooftop and open space plants and offers the perfect combination of technological quality and outstanding service. Comprehensive tests and certifications are just as much a part of the complete package as on-time delivery direct to the project site.
By taking advantage of economies of scale and a highly flexible production process, the SOLON Black 220/16 allows for significant cost advantages for business projects. Requirements are a minimum quantity of 500 kWp, a project certificate, and collective delivery to a project address.
The SOLON Blue 220/16 will be available as of quarter III/2010.

The SOLON Black 280/12 is manufactured using 72 monocrystalline cells and weighs only 8.5 kg/m², making it extremely lightweight. This extreme low weight is achieved by eliminating the frame and using 3.2 mm of glass. The connection socket is rotated by 180 degrees to facilitate assembly and improve cable routing. The modules are attached with an adhesive and are therefore also particularly well-protected against theft. It also is protected against corrosion with other foreign materials on the roofs.
