Gothaer Photovoltaic Insurance.
SOLON offers a free all-risks insurance for photovoltaic systems, which was concluded with Gothaer Allgemeine Versicherung AG. It applies to all countries in the European Union.
The insurance covers all damage to the entire system, including the storage system provided by SOLON, as well as loss of production and installation faults.
Your free insurance coverage comes into effect when the system is commissioned and ends after two years. After the first two years, the policyholder gets the chance to renew the coverage on especially favorable terms and continue it at their own expense. You can get a corresponding quote on request.
The application for photovoltaic insurance is made by the respective installation company on behalf of the system operator.
Since March 2013, you can apply for photovoltaic insurance online in the password protected mySOLON area. In this secure area, our partners can find the installation record and a leaflet on how to register a solar energy system.
